MREAST takes his weekly look at NCAA-F Title chasers, and a National Championship predicted matchup
It has been another interesting week to say the least in college football. Penn St. bit the dust in Iowa City, and the BCS unbeatens are down to Texas Tech and Alabama, who need OT to survive the LSU TIGERS. We are now down to 5 unbeatens with 3 Cinderellas trying to crash the party in Ball St., Utah (a miracle finish), and Boise St. Here is a look ahead to this week's action, including 1 loss teams.
BALL ST. (9-0) @ MIAMI,O.:
If Ball St. loses there ought to be an investigation
USC (8-1) @ STANFORD
The Trojans will surely remember the colossal upset layed to them as a 39 point chalk at the hands of the Cardinal. Would not be surprised to see them lay it on here
SC @ FLORIDA (8-1)
Gators smell the window of opportunity, and will be going for the jugular every week now. SC good, but these Gators are smoking right now.
INDIANA @ PENN ST. (9-1)
Joe Pa's National Championship went through the uprights with :01 second on the clock in Iowa City, can you say Rose Bowl?
MISS ST. @ ALABAMA (10-0)
Tide now controls their own destiny, can they get by the Gators?
TEXAS (9-1) @ KANSAS
Kansas has really slipped, as the BIG-12 is loaded with beasts, and another one coming to town, Horns won't be hooked here.
BYU (9-1) @ AIR FORCE
Air Force gave the Utes all they could handle in Colorado Springs, but mostly due to poor play by the Utes, could BYU be in trouble here as well?
TULSA (8-1) @ HOUSTON
Tulsa was exposed at Arkansas, may get a second dose of reality here against a Cougar team that can score as well.
BOISE ST. (9-0) @ IDAHO
Broncos may have sealed their BCS fate, and look to have a very clear path to finding their way in again, what bag of tricks is Chris Peterson bringing to the party this year?
UTAH (10-0) @ SD ST.
The Utes are about to crash the party, 2 non-BCS teams in the great 8? BYU will have its say in the matter, stay tuned.

OKLAHOMA & TEXAS TECH
THE NATIONAL TITLE GAME:
TEXAS TECH and ALABAMA are obviously in the catbird seats right now. It is their game to lose. Of the 12 teams left with 1 loss or less, you can definately dismiss Utah,Penn St.,Tulsa,Ball St.,Boise St, and BYU. That means there are 6 teams left in the talk.
TEXAS TECH win out and in, a loss and they are out
ALABAMA : see Texas Tech
OKLAHOMA: Needs some help, and has to find their way to the Big-12 Championship game, or the BCS will be a sham if a team that makes a Title game, didn't even win their Conference.
FLORIDA: Run the table and beat the Tide, they will likely punch their ticket
USC: Just doesn't have any meaningful games left to tilt the balance, needs help.
TEXAS: Really comes down to texas Tech stumbling now for the Horns.
PREDICTED TITLE GAME:
TEXAS TECH vs FLORIDA
That's hit for now, don't see a lot changing next week, but it has been a surprise a minute, so who knows.
