Jack's Free Pick Sunday: Blazers/Knicks UNDER 221

The New York Knicks are without their top three PG's in Brunson (26.3 PPG, 7.4 APG), McBride (9.4 PPG, 2.9 APG) and Payne (7.0 PPG, 2.7 APG).  They have had to rely a lot more on defense of late with their offense out of sync without these guys.

The Portland Trail Blazers are dealing with injuries of their own that will hamper them offensively tonight.  Scoot Henderson (12.7 PPG) and Jerami Grant (14.4 PPG) are both out, while Anfernee Simons (19.3 PPG) is questionable.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Blazers are cautious with Simons since they are all but eliminated from playoff contention after three consecutive losses.

The Knicks rank 25th in pace this season and will control the tempo playing at home.  The Blazers (18th) rank in the bottom half of the league in pace as well.  The UNDER is 3-0 in the last three meetings with 196, 198 and 212 points at the end of regulation.  Bet the UNDER in this game Sunday.

FRANK’S CUTTING ROOM FLOOR FOR SUNDAY, 3/30:

My “Cutting Room Floor” plays are the situations I considered the closest to being worthy of investment but did not make the “final cut” for my official plays today for subscribers. The last play I cut for Sunday is with the Portland Trail Blazers plus the points versus the New York Knicks. Portland (32-42) has lost three games in a row after their 128-107 loss at Sacramento as a 5.5-point underdog on Thursday. The Trail Blazers have not covered the point spread in three straight games — but they have then covered the point spread in 10 of their last 11 games on the road against Eastern Conference opponents. New York (46-27) has won three of their last four games after their 116-107 upset victory at Milwaukee as a 1-point underdog on Friday. The Knicks have failed to cover the point spread in 8 of their last 11 games at home. They have also failed to cover the point spread in 8 of their last 10 games against teams who are winning 40-49% of their games. Take Portland plus the points. Best of luck — Frank.

Frank Sawyer’s Hollywood Sports is on a 9 of 10 (90%) CBB TOTALS TEAR with featured 25*/20*/10* plays which fuels their 30 of 40 (75%) CBB Totals mark with featured plays! Frank DELIVERED his 25* CBB Elite Eight Game of the Year on Duke last night to fuel his 12 of 18 (67%) CBB Game of the Year run — and now he furthers his 22 of 29 (76%) CBB Totals Game of the Year/Month run with his 25* CBB Elite Eight Total of the Year for Sunday!

Frank is on a 17 of 25 (68%) NCAA Tournament run with featured plays  — and he furthers his 12 of 18 (67%) CBB Game of the Year run with his 25* CBB Elite Eight Underdog of the Year for Sunday that will no longer be available — one way or another — by 2:15 PM ET! DO NOT MISS OUT!

NBA | Warriors vs Spurs
Play on: Warriors -11½ -115 at PlayMGM

1 Unit FREE PLAY on Golden State Warriors -11.5

The Golden State Warriors have Steph Curry back and are fully healthy outside of Gary Payton.  They are motivated to improve their playoff standing so they won't be taking the Spurs lightly tonight.  They also have a big rest advantage over the Spurs in this one.  The Warriors will be playing just their 3rd game in 8 days, while the Spurs will be playing the second of a back-to-back and their 10th game in 17 days.  They put a lot of effort into coming up short in a 121-111 loss to the Celtics last night.  They won't have much left for Golden State tonight.  Give me the Warriors.

NBA | Warriors vs Spurs
Play on: Warriors -11½ -115 at PlayMGM

This is a play on the GOLDEN ST. WARRIORS for our Sunday Free Play. Golden St. overcame a pair of losses against Atlanta and Miami to open this six-game roadtrip with a 16-point win at New Orleans on Friday and it now has another warmup game before facing the Grizzlies and Lakers on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. The Warriors are 19-17 on the road and have struggled laying the big numbers this season but this is the ideal spot to put it down as they need to get some consistency and momentum back in trying to avoid any sort of play-in scenario as they are in the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference. Making the spot better is San Antonio coming off a loss last night against Boston by only 10 points so they played all out which will be hard to replicate and even more so after losing their previous game against Cleveland by eight points. The overall numbers are not horrible but the majority were with Victor Wembanyama and then De'Aaron Fox in the lineup. Here, we play on favorites of 10 or more points revenging a road loss of 10 points or more, off an road win scoring 110 or more points. This situation is 37-12 ATS (75.5 percent) since 1997 with a scoring differential of +17.6 ppg. Play (563) Golden St. Warriors

The NCAA Tournament is ready to roll into the second Elite 8 day after a 2-0 Saturday with both winners on Sunday highlighted by Elite 8 GOY. Crown Winners upcoming. MLB back in action today with an Underdog Triple Play starting in the afternoon along with a NBA Double Play tonight.

NBA | Rockets vs Suns
Play on: Rockets -2½ -108 at Heritage

The Houston Rockets (48–26) visit the Phoenix Suns (35–39) in a Western Conference matchup. Houston aims to extend their four-game road winning streak and solidify their position near the top of the conference standings. Phoenix, currently 11th in the West, seeks a crucial victory to keep their postseason hopes alive. The Rockets have won nine of their last ten games, including a 121–110 victory over the Utah Jazz. The Suns are on a two-game losing streak, with recent defeats to the Boston Celtics (132–102) and Minnesota Timberwolves (124–109). Kevin Durant scored 23 points in the loss to Minnesota. Offense: Houston averages 113.7 points per game, shooting 45.1% from the field. Phoenix averages 114.4 points per game, shooting 48.0% from the field. Defense: Houston allows 109.1 points per game, ranking 5th in the league. Phoenix allows 115.9 points per game, ranking 22nd in the league. Houston: Leads the NBA with 48.6 rebounds per game. Houston's top-ranked rebounding and strong defense present challenges for Phoenix. The Suns will rely on Durant and Booker to counter the Rockets' interior strength. Phoenix's recent defensive struggles and Houston's momentum have the Rockets as my play here on Sunday.
