This page provides you with the ability to see the betting percentages for all the upcoming games on the NHL schedule that have a line available to bet. While the table informs you of the betting percentages of the spread (puck line), money line and total, most hockey wagers are made on either the money line or total. There's typically not as much action on the puck line, so the betting percentages aren't as true of a indicator as the money line or total.

Betting percentages simply tell you which side of a specific game is receiving the money action in terms of the number of bets placed. Not to be confused with the amount of money that is being wagered. Just because a team is getting 60% of the action, that does not mean 60% of the money is coming in on that side.

While the books don't disclose the amount of money being wagered, it's not difficult to figure out due to the books wanting to get equal action in terms of money on both sides. If the Anaheim Ducks are listed as -150 home favorites against the Buffalo Sabres and are showing a betting percentage of 60%, you would expect the line to get bigger (-150 to -155 or more). If the line does in fact jump from -150 to -160, that essentially lets you know they are also receiving the majority of the money. If the Ducks were at 60% and the line dropped to -150 to -140, that's a good indicator that the money is on Buffalo.

The important thing to keep in mind when trying to determine which side is receiving the majority of the money, is that the line doesn't always move due to the amount of money that's been wagered. If news come out that a key player is going to miss the game, books will go ahead an adjust the line in anticipation of the public coming in on the other side.
